Dx51d galvanized sheet coil material is a non-ferrous alloy made of zinc as the base and adding other elements. The main alloying elements are aluminum, copper, magnesium, etc. Zinc alloy has a low melting point, good fluidity, easy plastic processing and welding, and is resistant to atmospheric corrosion.

The pickled hot rolled coils are directly galvanized (GHR) or after cold rolling (GCR) using the continuous hot dip method on the galvanizing line. The galvanizing coating process is applied to two surfaces; the upper surface and the lower surface.

Galvanized materials produced using this coating process prevent corrosion and extend the life of materials exposed to the atmosphere and constitute the most important input coating for the automotive industry and exterior execution sectors. Galvanized/galvanized steel is passivated by chromate passivation and/or oiling to passivate the zinc layer formed on the protective surface.

 

 

 

Corrosion Resistance: Provides excellent corrosion resistance by creating a barrier to protect the metal inherent in the zinc layer from corrosive elements. Optimum service life depends on the thickness of the coating and the severity of the environment (humidity, salt, etc.).

Formability: Galvanized steel is easily used to produce parts that require ultra-deep drawing and bending.

Weldability: Can be welded by many known welding processes. The spot welding technology of galvanized products is more developed than that of galvanized products.
